Home.

As part of 2021 Refugee Week, Central Coast Council presented ‘Home’—a collaborative project sharing powerful stories of refugees, new arrivals, and established migrant communities living on the Central Coast.
.
Originally two separate collections of photos and stories resulting from a collaboration between photographer Hilda Bezuidenhout, writer Mel Harwin and locally based Kamilaroi/Gomeroi artist Kevin Duncan, it was then brought together by designer Katherine Hall into a unified 48-page book and mobile public exhibition space—fondly known as the ‘Art Container’. The result was a reflection of the diversity but also the commonality inherent in our human stories.
.
The exhibition was held over two weeks every day from 9-5 at Memorial Park, The Entrance.
